You simply install the font as you would normally do. The latest releases of Illustrator and Photoshop CC have now a new option: if you select a variable font in the fonts drop down menu, a slider will appear. Play with the slider to adjust the weight of the font.

A variable font is a single font with many weight variations (or any other variations, like width or slant) enclosed in a single font file.

With a couple of easy steps we managed to install the fonts on our computers. Next we have to add a second language support in our system so we can enable Greek character set. Here is a quick guide how to do this.

HOW TO ADD GREEK LANGUAGE SUPPORT:

Windows 10:

• On the Start button click Settings

• Click Time & Language and then click Region & Language.

• Select Add a language and choose the Greek language from the list. Enjoy your Greek font!

OS X (Mac users):

• On the Apple menu, click System Preferences.

• Click Language & Region, and then click Keyboard Preferences

• Click +, select the Greek language, and click Add.

• Select the Show Input menu in menu bar checkbox.

• Now you can open your favorite application and use the font. Enjoy your Greek font!

That’s it! Now you have installed your fonts and you are ready to type in Greek characters using your favorite programs and applications.

There are a few ways to do this, but here I pinned down the easiest for the most popular operating systems.

Windows 10:

• Unzip the folder containing the fonts first.

• Right click on the font file and select Install. That’s it, enjoy your font!

OS X (Mac users):

• Unzip the folder containing the fonts first.

• Double click the font file and the Font Book application will open with a preview of the font.

• Click Install Font at the bottom of the preview
